Just an average day...

I thought that I would start blogging in order to keep yall informed about things that have been going on lately.  So here I am, spending my non-existent free time.  The weather here has been gorgeous lately...a little chilly in the mornings before and after practice, but beautiful otherwise.

I wish I had many interesting activities to write about, but I guess I can try to make practices, classes, and meets exciting!

We swim this weekend at an invitational meet against our toughest competition yet, including Wingate University (where my old friend from Wilmington, Cameron Washburn, swims) and College of Charleston.  Tough stuff! It should be fun, though.  It will be a two-day meet, and I will be swimming freestyle in both the 200 and 400 medley relays, the 200 and 400 free relays, 50 free, 100 free, 100 fly, and 100 back.  This will be my first backstroke of the season, so I am very nervous! It's gonna be intense!

After this weekend, we will begin tapering for the SCAD meet the first weekend of December.  Christmas training will be our hardest yet, but I'll get through.  Christmas break begins the 19th, and I hope to spend my break in Raleigh. Speaking of breaks, I'm sooo looking forward to Thanksgiving break next week.  I will get a few days in Kennesaw with Dad, Lisa, and the kids.  Also, David and his family will be in town, so I will get lots of time with him.

I can't believe my first semester of college is already over!! It's crazy how fast it's gone.

Anyway, I'm off to go do Spanish homework...woohoo!
Enjoy the beautiful weather :]
